The new DEPO launches in 5 days: faster, smarter and made for you

On 21 October DEPO switches to a completely rebuilt website: pages that open instantly, likes and favorites right in the gallery, Japanese language, sign-in on every device and new tools for magazines.

The new DEPO launches in 5 days: faster, smarter and made for you

On Wednesday, 21 October, DEPO moves to a completely new website. Same community, same accounts, same photos — but a faster, cleaner and smarter place to show your work, find collaborators and get published. Here is what is coming and how it differs from the DEPO you know.

Rebuilt from the ground up

The old site was a heavy web app: your browser had to download and start a lot of code before it could show a single photo. The new DEPO is built on the server, so pages arrive ready to read and open almost instantly — even on a slow mobile connection.

  • Faster pages. No more waiting for the app to start: the page you open is the page you see.
  • Photos in the right size. Every image is prepared for your screen — sharp on a big monitor, light on a phone. Logos keep their transparency.
  • A new look. The DEPO Album design comes to the whole site: calm dark layout, a softly moving background and a clearer header.

A gallery you can act on

Like a photo right from the gallery — no need to open it first. Next to the heart there is a new button: the bookmark.

Favorites: keep the work that inspires you

Tap the bookmark on any photo and it is saved to your Favorites. They live on your profile, right under your own photos, newest first. Only you can see them. And your list always stays clean: if the author deletes a photo, it disappears from everyone's favorites too.

Photos, one after another

An opened photo now sits in a vertical feed: scroll and the next work is already there. Like, save, comment and share from the action column, follow the credited people from the side panel. On your own photos a ⋯ menu lets you edit or delete them in one click.

DEPO speaks your language

The interface is now available in English and Japanese, with more languages on the way. Choose yours in your profile settings — menus, buttons, pages and blog articles follow.

Your account, on every device

Signing in on a new laptop no longer signs you out of your phone. In your settings you see every device where you are signed in, when it was last active, and you can sign out any of them — or all others at once. Tick "Remember me" and DEPO keeps you signed in for 30 days.

Made for magazines

  • Header picture constructor. Pick one of your magazine photos or upload a new one, drag it into place and zoom — separately for desktop and for mobile, so your page looks right everywhere.
  • A faster inbox. The dashboard where you review submissions got the latest fixes, and "Download ZIP" now starts immediately.
  • Instant messages. New chat messages arrive live, with an unread counter in the header — no page reloads.

What you need to do on launch day

Nothing. Your account, password, photos, followers, messages and magazines move with you, and one sign-in still works for both DEPO and DEPO Album. We are still in beta, so if something looks off or you miss a feature, write to us through Contact us — we read every message.

See you on the new DEPO on 21 October.

Persona.Code: Why We Created a Magazine About People in the Age of Algorithms

Every day, thousands of photographers, models, makeup artists, stylists, and creative teams share their work online. A photograph appears in a feed, gains attention for a moment, and then disappears beneath an endless stream of new content. While the creative industry has never been more accessible, in many ways, creative work has never felt more temporary. This friction became the starting point for Persona.Code: What remains when the algorithm stops showing your work? Discover how this independent print and digital title provides a premium space for identity, human experience, and storytelling, and how its integration with modern automated workspaces allows creators worldwide to submit data-ready projects that transition from digital archives onto prestigious physical pages.

Seklion Is Creating a New Editorial Language for Contemporary Fashion

There is a certain kind of image that stays with you long after you have seen it. Acting as a premium curatorial force, the publication provides a dedicated space for international creative teams whose work reflects refined aesthetics, emotional depth, and uncompromising artistic direction. How Creative Collaboration Builds Stronger Fashion Editorials

The myth of the lone artistic genius has finally been retired. In the fast-paced independent fashion media landscape of 2026, the most visually arresting, culturally impactful editorials are never the product of a single individual working in a vacuum. Instead, they are born from horizontal networks of co-creators—photographers, stylists, makeup artists, and models who operate as an agile, synchronized unit. Discover how seamless creative collaboration multiplies the narrative power of a visual series, why modern editorial boards actively seek out team-driven submissions, and how platforms like DEPO Place provide the crucial professional workspaces needed to transform multi-author projects into production-ready media assets for global print and gallery features.
